    Squeaky Clutch

There's a squeak coming from the clutch pedal when I depress the clutch. It only happens sometimes, is it something to be worried about?

There is probably a lack of lubricant on the shaft that the thowout bearing slides on. May increase wear on the shaft, but not really a major problem.
Mine did that, and I couldnt stand the sound, and thought of it. So I pulled the trans, and greased all the pivots and the shaft

bleh, pull back the throwout fork boot and squirt some white lithium grease on the quill shaft.

Unless of course it's the actual pedal which is what it sounds like it is. The E36 has a well documented issue with a squeeky clutch pedal due to a bushing. The e30 is probabably a similar design.
