    Won't start

Finally got my vert back together and now it won't start. In all fairness I had reattached the battery and I saw a bolt I didn't snug down. Then I sparked something.
So if I pin out 11 and 14 from the diagnostic plug and it doesn't start. Is there any chance it's a relay and not a bad starter? (Fuse in 10 is fine)

    Need a bit more info....

When you say doesn't start do you mean doesn't crank over when you turn the key to the start position or it does crank but won't start up ?

What was the thing you sparked ? The battery terminal ?

    What year 325is ?

      It was the starter.
      Here's the info:

It was actually the alternator I sparked.
Blew up my motor (not going fast or anything. I believe it was starving of oil. Though my levels were fine. I guess I damaged the starter while installing my backup motor.
Though now it has a rough idle. Checking injectors and plugs because I think it's misfiring. Feels like I'm driving a 4/5 cylinder.

Also check the wiring on C191 - the round plug under the inlet manifold, this powers the injectors. If that has been disturbed the wiring can break away from the connectors or the connectors can rot and not make good contact.
