    What plug is this??

Okay while taking my car apart.
I unplugged this but noticed the spring clip connector is unbroken but the other is broke. It has 3 prongs and can plug in either way. Are the wires for both plugs the same color or are the different and what does the broken connector go to? If I hook it up wrong will it affect how the car runs? The broken connector follows the red wire loom.
    Any help will be appreciated!

So it won't hurt if it's plugged in backwards. Just turn the light on the check panel?

If it's the OLS, polarity doesn't matter. The sensor is just a switch that closes the circuit, so even if it is reversed, the check panel will still work fine.

Just to make sure it is the OLS, does the wire from the connector run down to the top of the oil pan, where it sticks out on the cold side of the engine? I only remember that sensor having 2 pins in the connector, is why I'm asking.
