LSD diff internals??

I was wondering if it was possible to make an open diff into an LSD diff with a change in internals? my club can get kaaz LSDs for cheap and I was wondering how they're made. I know quaife LSDs are just internals, so does that mean the internals are jsut swapped into the diff housing to make it an LSD diff??

it would be nice to get a 1.5-way LSD for 800...
