    Fuse 8 issue rear defroster

Posted this yesterday in the audio section by mistake.

    Hi guys,

Taking Christmas Eve to do a couple of small projects (sunroof and rear window defrost), and I have run into a problem. I am not getting voltage to the grid at the rear defrost. I have checked G300 and it is good. I pulled the ETM and traced the wiring back to the switch, and checked there for voltage as well with no voltage. As an aside, the lighting on the switch works fine, but I know that is controlled by fuse 23 or 24. Looked at C103 and everything looks good there. Then tested the spades for fuse 8 and get nothing across them with the switch engaged. Am I correct in thinking that this means I either have a problem with the wiring under the fuse box or a problem with the circuit board under the box? Is there a diode under there that could be bad?

    Thanks in advance.
