    Fuel gauge is reading off?

Discovered a new problem with my new cluster...

I'm pretty certain that my fuel gauge is off... I've clocked around 180 miles on the odometer (finally one that works)... and my fuel gauge reads that i've only used about 1/4 tank...

I know this is off because on my previous cluster... i'd go 180 and my fuel light is on.

How can I verify without running it dry?

The tank holds something like 14.6 gallons. Filler up, and run it out and calculate it.

          Uhh I second that.
The vapors coming out of that hole are flammable.

Drop the tank and replace it. Patching never worked well for me.

It's probably leaking from the top, sometimes water runs over the top of the tank and sits....eventually rusts a hole in the tank.

more than likely not a leak in the tank itself, but the fuel pump o-ring.

More likely the seam on the tank itself is where its leaking... dummies...
