    i grabed the white spring loaded think sticking out of the column with some pliers and ripped it off and the noise is gone

      Did you lube any parts that are moving/touching. I had the same prob with mine. A little grease took car of it.

            Errr was it on the bottom or the side?

            If it was metal and on the bottom, your horn doesn't work anymore.

            If it was on the side and plastic, maybe your turn signal will no longer turn off going around a corner.

              no was on the top. IT was a white shaft sticking straight out
