trunk lids for 86 and 88ix

Does anyone know if an 86 325 trunk lid will fit an 88ix? I need one so I can put my hartge spoiler on, but the 86 one is at the junk yard and I don't know if it will fit....it sorta of looks too small?

The trunks are the same between all the cars (aside from M3 with the decklid panel and the tourings with a hatch). You should be able to use the '86 trunk on the '88 iX without a problem.
