    Crappy perfonace when it rains.

Ok i know i have a leak somewhere on my car. When it rains and i drive i feel the water dripping on my feet. I will be taking the dashboard off. Where should i look for possible water leaks? Either than the weinshield seal? Also what would cause the car to sputter and run poorly only when it rains? If anyone has any insight feel free to post. Thanks.

Sounds like you've got a crack in your dist cap. Or maybey it's not "sealing" and moisture is condensing inside it. Either way I've seen this happen on various different vehicles on rainy days. Replace the cap, and spray a little (by little I mean a little) silicone lubricant into the cap this'l turn the moisture away.

Could also be bad plug wires. if they get old they can develop microscopic cracks that send the voltage to ground instead of to your plugs.

You can check this will a spray bottle. with the car on in a dark area. spray water with a spray bottle above the engine (not directly at the wires or you could get fried) when the water hits the wires you will see a small light show. If you do replace the wires ( I reccomend Bav auto High performance wires or Nology performance wires).

This also happened to me about a year ago confused the S&&t out of me.
