I've got a 1991 Auto M20B25, and a 1986 Manual M20B27, can i put the manual tranny off the E on to the I i know they will fit one way but not the other as in E
E tranny fits I Engine or I tranny fits E engine......

the two are almost identical except for the bell housing. I believe this extra metal on the bell housing makes it hard to do. I know it is possible someone here should have a write up on it.

Yea he's right. the i trans wont work for the e because it doesnt have holes for the reference sensors.. probably something else, but thats all i can think of.

          Everything is pretty much useable.

          But you'd probably want a 3.73LSD and a m20b25 single mass flywheel/clutch.
You could use the e flywheel, but most are dual mass and you can't lighten it as easily as the 'i flywheel.
