Tried bimmerdiy and search and only came up with this.
but that's for the sides. i'll be doing those too.
I just aquired a 4.10 lsd very cheap because it was leaking from the front (where it connects to driveshaft). I finished the rust work and the paint NOW, looking at it, i think i have to put an impact gun to the front nut to loosen it...Then what? does this job require having to remove lsd unit, imput gear/shaft. Then changing the seals and spend hours doing the backlash/preload. THE DIFF IS OFF THE CAR
