My friend is going to be installing his chip and I am just wondering if there are any special instructions or things to note while removing the ECU, putting the chip in, and replacing the ECU. Please let me know anything you know, thanks.
Just be sure to pull the chip straight up. if you pull it out sideways, the pins will bend. Also ground yourself on a piece of metal first - like the screw holding on a switch plate.
When putting the new one in, apply pressure evenly.
