alright i just bought an e30 325es (check out the "members rides" section for a complete overview) and the seats wouldnt slide anywhere, so we worked on the passenger first cause it was a little less work. and i manually using a screwdriver held the little clip out of the track so we could slide it forward and take out the bolts that held in the seat on the back. now i simply rehooked that metal bar that goes across the seat underneath to disengage the clip and allow the seat to slide forward. and we put it back in. now with the drivers seat this is a different question. we are doing everything to disengage those clips and we are, but the seat will not slide far enough forward to allow access to the bolts. i can see just about half of it. one more notc forward would allow access but the seat just wont go that far up. now i did notice a screw in the track nearest the door on the drivers seat that might haave prohibited it to slide forward all the way and i took it out. but the seat still wont slide far enough forward. any way to get it to? i need to get it out to fix it. thanks for all the help

You can adjust the seats by pushing the levers down as well.Yours truly,

you cant access the bolts from under the car? because i took one off the rear seatbelt recievers out today and i saw straight to the ground...could be worth a checkComment

f that! Learn how to work your seats! Sit in the seat, push the lever closest to your hand, the whole seat will tilt. Or better yet, read the diagram on the side of the seat!Yours truly,
