Delrin is stiffer than urethane I believe. Its similar in appearance and feel to nylon.

EDIT: a half decent site with some explanations: http://www.suspension.com/bmw2.html

Hell, I could make bushing like this too. Maybe Jordan and I could do together and make a set. That way we wouldn't have to machine so many parts, just hal of them. :) ;)

Jordan you need to check out some of the homemake CNC machines on the internet...

Delrin probably wouldnt be too great for street use.

For suspension: no it wouldnt (not unless you WANT to rattle all your teeth out). For stuff like shifter bushings, seat bushes, etc, it would.

How bout a fix for that bitch clip?

I still need to look at that, but its something I plan on doing. Could you machine something that would fit right in that?

I'd probably be interested in urethene bushings too.

Depends on how much you can get quality urethane for. Bimmerworld sells the powerflex bushings which are pretty nice for 59 bucks OEM or 69 offset.

urethane is cheap as fck... I have been researching the possibilities..

I have access to large machine lathes, mills, and drill presses with digital readouts and the such. I can help if you guys want. urethans will be a since to lathe out. I can make my own cutting bits as well so I can pretty much make multiple surfaces on a lathe pretty fast.

                  just lemme know.

best way is to skip the normal bushings and go straight to the offset. just buy 1 set of the bushings, and I can mass produce them for cheap. i mean... if they have bar stock urethane or delrin the same EXACT size as the powerflex ones, then all we have to do is cut and drill holes... >.> sounds cheesy but that's how it is...

You can buy bar stock delrin.

i know i can buy bar stock delrin, but whether or not they have it exactly the same size or not is another thing. but it'll only take a few min to turn down the dia of a delrin bar anyways....

Can you turn a drawbar MT3 to R8 3/8" end mill adapter for me?
