Clutch question.....

Just had a new Sachs 325i clutch installed........feels very firm though. Have any of put a new clutch kit in and it felt heavy, especially when near the floor??

I put a sachs clutch in my eta, and it felt normal to me.
It wasn't a sport clutch was it? I hear those are pretty heavy..
