I got a set of gauges for parts a few years ago and finally decided to peak inside them today. The front of the cluster states VDO as does a sticker on the back of the gauges. However upon removing the speedometer/odometer it is marked as a Motoneter. Is that common? Would this gauge set even work set up like this?

I think they work that way. I think i have some swapped parts in mine, too -
Both brands made identical parts and they work together. Kind of like how you can buy suppression parts or engine parts made by different manufacturers.Comment
