    Testing an idle air valve...?

How would one go about testing the idle air valve?

I remember doing it on my old 325i a few years ago...but it has since slipped my mind.

    Searching revealed nothing.

Turn the key to the 2nd postion, you should here it buzzing. If no buzzing remove and clean out the interior with some parts spray. Install and repeat.
