help me figure this out

what clutch is this? I pulled it out of my dogleg tranny from my 323i.



And...i know for sure i have a 731 head, but what does "M84" stand for (written on the block)? the other number on the block (casting # i think?) ends in 849.9 or 949.9 i cant tell by the pic i took.....what does this mean?



My dogleg tranny also says "M60", and i know its a getrag cause it ays it on ther. what does that mean?

clutch looks like the common single mass variety.

explain me this then. The clutch on the left is the one pictured above...it has 4 large springs, then 4 smaller springs inside the large springs.

The one on the right only has 4 large springs, and the obvious groove difference on the material.
