    Coil

Is there any alternative to the Bosch coil, like the o2 sensor you can use the cheaper mustang one. Is there a american car coil i can use?

I've got a spare from my '89 i, I'll let you have for cheap if you're interested.

people are using the blaster II from MSD but I do not know if it will work with the coil wire that is in your car? Some info on this would be nice, because the blaster II is about half the price as the Bosch part!

Nearly any coil from any pointless breaker ignition system will work.
