    Rear wheel flange differences?

I need to replace one of the rear wheel flanges on my 91' 318IS and I can't figure out what the correct part is for my car. I looked up part number on RealOEM and it shows this,

I am hesitant buying that one because I suspect that someone may have swapped out the rear suspension on my car in the past and I am no longer certain what is actually on there.

I found this flange which is also listed for 318IS.

I got a used flange from one of the members here and it looks like yet another iteration of one of the ones above. The back part is not flat like those in the images. When I installed it on my car the brake rotor sits too deep inside and rubs on the dust shield.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the 2 parts above?

How many variations of wheel hubs are there? I thought there were only 2 different ones. One for disk brakes and one for drums. Is that correct?

I believe the 325ix has the same hub you do. Why BMW put that same hub on the 318is is anyone's guess but if you look it up on realoem it says they have the same part
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

This is 325ix and it's shown to only fit 325ix. Still looks the same as the other 2.

The first link should be the correct one for your car. This was used on most E30s, including 325i and 325e.

The second link was for very early models only. I believe the difference is axle size. Early model 318s and etas used smaller axles while everything else (including late model 318s) used the larger ones.
