    Help fixing my fuel leak.

    Drivers side, to the right of the rear jack point (from underneath POV)

    there is a rubber line then the fuel pressure damper then the steel gas line that goes to the engine. the place that is leaking is the metal end on the damper over the rubber line, that metal piece is rusted out and has a gapping hole!!!!

    what parts do i need to fix this, and what will i have to do to fix it. reason i am asking i wanna get all the info together because my friend has a lift i can put the car on and work on it.

    any help is appreciated

      Just pull the damper and replace with a fresh piece of hose. Mine never had a damper on it (not since I got it anyway). Pretty common solution. I don't think you can even get those at a dealership any more.

        I had the same problem with a rusty/leaking damper. I removed it and and added a rubber fuel hose in it's place.

              Just remove the damper and put on new rubber lines and eliminate the damper altogether

              it worked fine when i did it.
