No cluster lights, key off and out radio still on

So strange everything was normal
It rained... had some beer come back to the car. Starts fine, headlights on but no cluster lights. Vert top buttons are illuminated and the CD player works. Get home turn car off and take key out... CD still on and the vert top button is illuminated. Any ideas what this could be? Maybe a bad radio somehow making a bad connection in moisture? Fuses were checked and in contact...

This killed my starter when i had my m20 . Was a motometer to vdo swap for 7k cluster. Even didnt work after i swapped new bulbs in. Solution?

So I solved it... so this car sat for a while and I've been slowly bringing it back. Originally I had to take the aux power and main power together and put them with same two wires in my stereo. So all 4 wires were together. At some point this car has decided to returned to it's normal function and decided it doesn't want to do that anymore. So I took the stereo deck out played with the wires and now poof.. were back in business. Idk if this will help anyone but I wanted to state my resolve.

Just for clarity. When I turned off my car and removed the key my security lights above me would stay on like "low beam" and the stereo would still be on. This fixed that problem. Good luck.
