    Sanden Compressor Wire / Tension

Hey guys, I did a complete r134a conversion and replaced literally everything.

I got a Sanden 508 compressor. It has 1 wire connection coming out of it and looks like it could plug into one of the holes in my m20b25 connection (pictures included). Do I just plug it in or am I supposed to take the old wire harness from my old compressor and use that?

Unrelated note, I had used a bracket with heavy modification and no tensioning capability. How should I get a belt on tensioned? Thinking about just a shorter belt and removing the pulley to get the belt on. Any input?

I cut the connector off my old compressor and solder / shrink wrapped onto the new one. And that was one wire.

I recall seeing a BMW article about some E30s having a high pressure cut-off and a low pressure cut-off. I think the low pressure one is on the dryer and the article suggested to eliminate the high pressure cut-off by connecting the two wires together. Check the wiring diagram for your car. I thought I had a PDF of the article but can't seem to find it.

did you eliminate the high pressure cut-off by connecting the two wires together. I'm not entirely sure which wire you speak of. Im thinking about doing what you did in that first sentence... just want to make sure im not messing anything up!

Mine only had one wire. I thought your picture showed a multiple wire connector which is why I mentioned the possibility of the high pressure cut-off.
