Need spoiler Advice

This is a spoiler that I am interested in but I have a couple questions. First.. The add says its an M-tech 2 spoiler? Is it? I thought the e28 spoiler looked like this.

Second.. The extended piece off of the blueish piece, Isn't that supposed to be rubber?

Maybe I am thinking the e28 spoiler or whatever but advice please.

This one has rubber. I see that it is m-tech but what if I want the rubber look, is it even rubber or is it paint?

Looks like an Mtech 1 wing and the outer part should be rubber and it was painted. Someone correct me if I am wrong?

Thats also kinda what I was thinking. Is there any way to bring back the rubber?

yes the outer is supposed to be rubber. they make that wing for e28 and e30 fyi. wing comes apart in two pieces, so you can paint to match body color. sem trim paint for the black? sand it down and see whats underneath?

It is an M-Tech I - either from an E30 or an E28. The part that is all white (no blue) is a semi-hard rubber part - normally it isn't painted, just is black. The bluish part is a seperate plastic part and is normally body color. If the rubber part has little ridges on the edge, it is from an E28 and will fit on an E30 with some overhang on the trunk sides. If the rubber part is smooth, it is from an E30.

The E28 spoiler has different mounting holes than the E30 spoiler - the E30 M-Tech I uses the same mounting holes that the "is" lip spoiler.

Did you buy this or are you thinking of buying it? How much?

Probably about right...maybe $50 too high. Used, unpainted rubber M-Tech I go for $150-200 on e-Bay. You wil have to do a lot of work to get that one looking good.

So I should pass? It's on ebay and I really like the look of the rubber, saw a red vert with one on the internet.

Is there any big difference between the IS spoiler and the bbs spoiler?
