Last Summer, the battery on my '92 318i vert leaked acid from its relief vent, ruining that corner of my engine compartment. After $1,000 and numerous hours repairing the damage, I installed a fresh battery and routed a new drain line well away from any structural or dynamic components.
Now, almost two months later...battery is leaking again. :sad: Although it hasn't caused any other damage, and the car's electrical system appears to be operating normally, I'm having trouble determining the cause of this issue. Summer heat here is long gone, and I've done nothing to change the stock configuration of my electrical system and accessories. I'm at a loss....any ideas/advice?
