Need Help Identifying Heat Shield Nuts

    Hello,

The heat shield above my muffer is rattling and whatever nuts it had have fallen off.

It had what looks like mix between a washer and screw on 1 of the 4 studs, but I can't find any more of these online. Realoem I'ds one of them as an M6
I just bought some M6 at the hardware and they are too big.

anyone know what nut this is? Can I order the p/n directly even though i just tried a regular m6 and it didnt fit?

Any other ideas to fasten this thing correctly?

I seem to recall those being course threaded, so you should be looking for M6 with a 2.14mm thread pitch, not the standard 1mm pitch. I'm pretty sure that is what the "Z2" is in reference to, ~2mm pitch.

It's pretty hard to find nuts that are for course threads like that, other than the dealer. Perhaps ebay has them. I know McMaster-Carr probably does not, their metric selection isn't that great.

I tried a couple local hw stores. Nothing.

Gonna have to special order or check the junkyard. Thanks for the info.
