    HELP: Removing Stripped Momo Bolts

    So I bought a beautiful, vintage Momo wheel attached to an equally vintage hub. I was able to remove three of the six #4 Allen bolts, but the other three bolts have stripped heads... NOW WHAT?!

    What can I do to safely remove the other three bolts, without completely mauling up the patina? I messed around with a drill and a bit but my efforts were futile.

    Should I try one of those Craftsman extractor sets, albeit ~$30?

    I've drilled them out before. Slow and steady and a little wd40 did the trick!

      If they are button head or flat head, I've had good luck with this style of extractor:



      If they are socket head, this style might work if you get one small enough:
