auto tarnny oil change trouble !!

I was changing the my auto tranny oil for my 90' 325 i. When I got to the filter. There are 3 bolts hold in place. they are star shape hex. One of them was rounded by previous person. my tools won't have a tight fit to turn them. I already removed the other two. I am stucked !!
    Advice needed !!!!
    TIA

Usually with stuck bolts like that I try to use either a vice-grip or a pipe wrench.

Something to get a good hold on there and then crank on it.

    Good luck...

      thank you for the suggestion.

I just put everything back now and wait until I have the right tool then I will remove that bolt.

      What is a pipe wrench?

      TIA

They sell smaller ones too. The nice part is that the harder you turn, the harder it grabs what you're turning. It can damage the head of the bolt though. (I've crushed the head of an oil pan drain plug with one)

Worse comes to worse you can drill it out.
