Car won't start stuck at work!!

Well i think i found the problem....Before all this happend I was tracking down a stalling and idle problem for a few weeks, after sawping out a few parts and cleaning a bunch of stuff with no good results...I decided to call bmw. they advised me to to check this sensor plug(for corrosion) located underneith the throttle body. I think all the engine sensors come to this point, and from this point it reports to the DME? I pulled the rubber boot back on the bottom half of the sensor(which goes to the dme) and found the broken cable

    Has anyone had this??

did you try giving it a little gas when you were cranking it? If this works your fuel pump probably needs some replacing.

I just cut it all, and soldered in new wires that are about 4 inches long. easiest, and cheapest method.

Does your car turn over when you start it?

Mine is in the shop today as well b/c I couldn't start it yesterday :(. It cranked and had gas in it but wouldn't start. Damn cars.
