    Clutch noise?

So I put a clutch in my iX a little while ago (two months maybe) and everything has been fine until now. A few days ago I gave the car a little workout if you know what I mean. Now whenever I drive the car in an somewhat agressive way I get a little squeal or honk noise from what sounds like the clutch area whenever I shift up to 2nd or 3rd. It doesnt do it when I downshift though. It just happens really quick and almost sounds like a tire chirp when hitting second gear. I guess it kinda sounds like a saxaphone or a horn or something. Thats the best way I can explain it. Anyway if anyone has any ideas what this sound could be let me know.

Sounds like my sister's 97 civic's clutch. She needs a new clutch in maybe 10-15K miles. You just put a new one in though. Does it make the noise while driving normally? (Granny shifting)

Well drove the car today and it doesn't seem to do it anymore. Maybe driving hard just made a hard hot spot on the disc ore something that caused it to make a harmonic noise. I dunno but I will keep you posted. No it does not make noise when I drive like my grama.

Could be the torsional springs iin the clutch disc, or maybe the TO bearing shaft isnt lubed sufficiently?

I dunno but I thought it wasn't doing it but I guess it still is. I used a lot of white lithium grease on the TO bearing shaft and the clutch disk is brand new. Is it possible that I may have put the pilot bearing in too deep? It seems like it went in pretty far.

I can't recall if its possible to push the pilot bearing in too far, its been a while since I've done one. But if the input shaft is not supported, I'm sure it would make all kinds of noises.
