    Experience w currently available cat/downpipes for 325i

Most threads are regarding gutting or otherwise modifying cats. I am pulling the motor soon and rather than have an exhaust shop splice in a universal cat to fix my rattling leaking one, I'm looking for as close to a bolt on replacement I can find.

DEC is really the only hit I'm getting these days at a reasonable price. Reviews on Amazon reasonably positive. Any other experience? https://www.amazon.com/Dec-Catalytic...ype=automotive

    Thanks

In terms of new replacements, DEC is the only company I’ve heard anything good about.

Personally, I like to buy cats out of recent M cars and build them into an exhaust. Decently high flow, effective, cheap, durable.

Well, I would describe the packaging as "minimal" but don't note any damage during shipping. I also do not appear to have received the gaskets that were pictured in the Amazon listing and have written to the seller.

The SS catback I bought did come with the various donut/flange gaskets I think I'll need but I these things always throw me and I want to be sure I have them correct in the pic attached.

yes, you’ve got the donut flanges in the right spots.
