    help finding forged rods

I've been looking around and have found rods from Eagle and several other companies to be very reasonably priced at around 550-700 a set of 6. however, these are forged in china and then finished in the US, which most likely means no custom sets. T_T

I'm looking for a set for my m20 stroker turbo project, and was advised to use stock E36M3 rods. However, since the stock rods cost about 600-700 new, and I'm having major problems finding used sets... I figure i might as well look into forged rods.

so if anyone can tell me where I can find a set of rods for the e36m3 or cheap forged rods somewhere, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've looked at pauter, arrow, and some others, but they're all crazy expensive... at most I can only afford 125-150 per rod...

There are a TON of rods out there.

What do you want to spend? I have Pauter rods in my car, and I think I paid $800 for 4.
Arrow, is nice, so are Carillio. But they cost more. I would expect to spend about $1000-1500 on nice rods for a M20.

It's also nice to ask if they use the stock bearings or some aftermarket ones.

I've got Pauter rods in my car, paid $1100 for 6 (that was a deal). They are awesome, light, perfectly balanced and very strong (my dad's shop has built a couple 500+rwhp 911 turbos and they run the same rods).
