I'm replacing stock mounts with stock. Both parts stamped BMW but the replacements have alum tabs to locate them.
I didn't take photos of this location on teardown and can't figure out what's going on. Witness marks on the trans show that the nuts were aligned all the way forward but it would seem the alum locating pins would prevent this. Do I have this wrong? There are locating tabs on the bottom of the rubber which seems to allow installation in only this orientation. There is only one part number for the mounts no L/R.
