Do front cab corners act as jacking points?

It was my understanding that the pads welded to the bottom of the front cab corners are not jacking points. Is this correct? What is their actual purpose? I have to take my car to a shop for inspection and worried that dummies will try to use cab corners to lift the car up and destroy my floors. Should I remind them not to use cab corners to jack the car up?

those are mounted to the rail, I would hope that a shop would know to lift off of the frame rails.
