    No Heat, help. No blow

Well got my car and now its winter, it gonna be my daily in another week or so, so I definatly need heat. My problem is when I turn the blower knob (1,2,3,4) nothing happens, no air, no clicking, no nothing. Dead blower? Dead switch? Comments please.

Probably the blower. Check fuses first though.

You can test teh fan swtich by leaving it at 0 and pushing the AC button. That forces fan speed 1 even when the main swtich is off. If you get air that way then you know it's the swtich. If not; blower time.

I don't know a spot in your area, I would try Pelican parts or bavauto. If you want the step by step procedure best place to go is in a Bentley Manual (bible for this car), it tells you everything in the process to replace and has some pictures as well. Excellent $30.00 investment for this car.

Good luck I hope it is just the blower.

since you have a 91 318 you have a m42 engine, you will need two bentley manuals one for the E30 84-91 and one for the e36 92 +. this way you are covered on both ends.
