inside the car - typically from the driver's or front passenger-side seat - one can reach forward to the dash which includes controls to adjust hot or cold air temperature.
You’ll want it set to full hot in order to insure that heater core is also flushed.
(heater core is incorporated in cooling circulatory system)
(hot cabin air is created by setting controls to allow air to pass through and be heated by hot coolant circulating through heater core)

it also says that the radiator will have a screw on the bottom that i just undo and all the coolant comes out? theres deffinatly no screw
on my 323i the radiator HAD a screw on the driverside bottom to let coolant out, but someone plugged it so i just pulled the lower hose off and let it all out.
running hose, on, through the system is very satisfying to watch too...all this shit that you never knew you had comes out and makes feel like AHH cholesterol-free cooling system. besides more water than antifreeze is better for cooling, although not beneficial to the water pump......
