Well my parts are ariving soon and I am going to be replacing my oil pans. My plan is to unbolt the engine mounts, put a block of wood spanning across the upper oil pan to lift the engine, place another coulple pieces of wood where the mounts use to be so I can access the bolts toward the rear of the oilpan. My engine mounts seem to be in good shape so I will not be replacing them. Are all the bolts the same size (10mm)? Do I need any special sockets? Right now only the front end of my car is off the ground. Do I need to lift the rear end too? Does my plan sound good? Last question is how come the m42 engine mounts so much more expensive than the m10, m20, and almost the same price as the s14 mounts?
