The heater died in my wife's car, it is not a BMW but I thought you guys might help out. It cost over $1,200 to fix it at the stealership, and I have tried several times myself with no luck. I'm moving on to other options now and was thinking about an electric heater. I have found some that wire into you car, or I was thinking about running one or two from an inverter. The car is a 1994 Infiniti Q45, the cabin is about the same size as a E32. Has anyone tried this before or have any ideas on good products. I'm trying to keep the cost to under $500. It gets down to the teens here some days so I need something that can handle that. I also have 6 month old son, so this needs to work well, and not catch the car on fire. Think it can be done, or should I just take it to the stealership :eeek: ?!?
Electric Heater???

ah HA! What a bitch. Bad heater motor? Fuck man, what a drag.
Not something you wanna tackle yourself, huh?
If I were you, I would get some other opinions.
As far as your electric thing, I would check in the RV world, or the air-cooled VW people.

It looks likt the air cooled VW's user the exhaust gases to heat the cabin air, kinda neat but useless to me. RV heaters look like the best way to got. Thanks.Originally posted by KingBScratch my back and I buy a prostitute for you, to rub your balls. HAHA now thats some funny shit.Comment
