M50 modded cars, I need a gearing suggestion.

My car is done 94 M50 single vanos with e36 tranny and now is geared way to low. Great for street and around town but is miserable for Highway. I was thinking about a 3.2ish lsd for it. But I would like some suggestions.

I have presently a 3.73 lsd in the car and it's way to low on highway.

My 3.73 will be for sale after I have a replacement. $150 for it and shipping.

3.25 or a 3.46 would probably be your best bet. All the E36 M3 guys use a 3.46 as their trick diff. It's like a 4.10 for E30's.

I'm running a 3.25 LSD and the gearing is very similar to the original drivetrain (m20b25) with the 3.73 LSD. If you do a fair amount of highway driving the 3.46 is going to bother you after awhile.

I PM'd you about the early euro bumper trim....

That's what I figured. A 3.46 for the US will be a little to much so, is there an in between gear? Say a ration out of the e46 maybe, like the new 330i SP has?

Some E36 guys use a 3.38, but I'm not sure what car those came in. Perhaps Auto E36 M3's? Best of luck,
