    M-Tech II install DIY

I know Lukas has one, but I can't find it, and he isn't responding. So does anyone have one? I'm getting a kit and I need to cut down prices by installing the entire kit myself. The front valence (which seems to be the hardest part) is already installed. So does anyone have one? Thanks in advance...

    Dan.

The front and rear bumper covers go on be using the male rtorx T36 wrench to remove the 2 bolts under the bumper, sliding the bumper cover off, and then mounting it to the existing bumper rails.

that's about all I know
My mountains are better than yours.

Really? Then I might have to sell my bumpers separately with the euro trim on it...

        Front:
You need to remove the bumper, swap bumper covers, then leave it off.

Next, drill your holes in the metal valence to apply your 5 front clips for the front apron.....also, drill your 2 side holes (just in front of wheel well). Then attach your frt apron by pressing it onto your 5 clips and attaching the sides of the apron by inserting your 1 bolt on each side.

Next, put your bumper back on.....slide it onto the existing side brackets and then tighten it down with the two monster hex bolts (don't forget to re-connect your indicator lights).

        Rear:
Sorry I didn't do that myself

        Sides:
Do your sideskirts first......drill your top sideskirt holes (14 each side) and 6 on the bottom. Apply all the fasteners/clips into the top holes, then push the sideskirts onto the fasteners/clips. Next, attach the clips on the bottom...they push through the skirts.

Then, drill your holes (if need be) for the top of the sidepanels, push your plastic grommets in all the holes. Then, put your plastic clips on the panels. The panels are a press fit once the clips are in place.

The bottom of the center panel has some clamps to hold it to the door, so attach those.......and the bottom of the frt & rear panels insert into the top of the sideskirts (they have plastic tabs that are a part of the panel itself.

Email me if you have any questions........ cdapex@yahoo.com .......good luck!!

PS: get a good drill and some good drill bits.......I believe 8mm for the sideskirt holes.
