    Heater Problem

i got a problem with a heater in 318i... it doesnot blow hot air, only cold...

the both pipes in engine are always warm going in and out... also the sliders work, and in all 4 positions the cold air blovs... when i rotate the hot/cold handle, there is no response, cold satyes cold... what problem might be there?

You thermostat is probably stuck open. What does the temp gauge read when the car is fully warmed up?

Even if that was the case I doubt it would get cold enough to where you don't feel even luke warm air out of the heater.

I'd say it's more likely to be some sort of blockage in the heater or a jammed heater valve. You could even have an issue with the big flap inside the dash box that directs the air through the heater core.

Depends on how cold it is outside.
