Where to Find Part Number -- wiring harness

Can anybody tell me where to look for the BMW part number on a wiring harness?
Its the wiring harness that (among other things) connects the fusebox with the cpu under the driverside dash.
Its got to be on a tag somewheres but mine may be disintegrated to nothing.

also whats this harness called? dash harness? car harness? theres too many damn wires.

That is part of the engine wiring harness.
