    Radio feedback on wet/humid days?

Been dealing with this for 6 years, fianlly going to throw it out there. Whenever it is really humid or during rainy weather, my stock radio just screams (and i mean SCREAMS) at me. The more humid or wet outside. the lower the pitch. When i turn the AC on coming through the center vents, the pitch begins to slowly rise until it is a high pitch squeal that eventually fades to nothing and allows music to come through. Turn off the AC and the High pitch returns and slowly dips down the pitch of a baritone sax (REALLY low for the musically uninclined). What the hell can i do? Amplifier? Faulty deck?

E30 trunks seem to have lots of moisture issues. I would swap in another stock amp to test.

    What year/model car?

Luke, its an 89 325i...and yes, the trunk is wet alot. Jusr replaced tail gaskets and antenna grommet, and im still finding moisture after heavy rains...where is the amp? And why would the AC being on help?

Amp is behind the panel below the antenna. Basically, directly under the antenna. I have NFC why AC would help. Mighty odd, IMO.

I bet your antenna grommet leaks.

The reason it's humming is because as you get more moisture in your trunk, something's getting a bit damp, but not entirely soaked, and the noise you're hearing is essentially the FM signal you're trying to dial in. (I for the first time just put my audio engineering class to practical use)

the A/C thing is probably just a current/power issue...and a wierd one at that.
