Swapping an oil cooler setup on to my Eta.

I have a complete "i' oil cooler setup. Should I swap it on to the Eta or is not not even worth the trouble. Keep in mind I will be occasionally towing a trailer with the Eta.

The scientific way to do this is to hook up a oil temp gauage and see where the needle ends up.

The un-unscientific way is to drink enough beer that you forget about your oil cooler and therefore will not need to even consider installing one.

eta should not need it. That is unless you have modded it a bit. When you make it a stroker then put the cooler on.

Its a Hayden Oil Cooler PT#403 and it measures 7.5x12.75 and its .75in thick

Its a $50 setup and it works, the clamps work okay and it doesnt leak but I might swap to AN fittings or brass later.

well the I cooler won't bolt on behind an diving board valance(or euro) I've tried. So you'd have to swap to the plastic bumper or 88 valance. Or custom fit a different cooler in front of the radiator.

Well I could just put an 87 i valance on it... Or mount it higher [behind the grilles]

your post has nothing to do with the question at hand, it was just a chance for you to shamelessly show off a mod.

if it will bolt onto the eta block, then why not use it? just get the IS front spoiler and put it in there. do it.

Decided I'll put it on. Can't hurt, that's for sure.

I'll probably just mount it up behind the grilles, at least for now.
