doing my belts, noobie question

Hello everyone. So I'm trying to redo the belts on my 89 325i, and I've undone the tensioners for the power steering and alternator, but they don't want to move.
Do the pivot bolts need to be loosened or should the alternator and PS just move on their own? They're pretty rusted, so would a mallot do the trick?

Alright, figured it out. After I busted a socket trying to loosen the pivot bolts I decided it was time for some good old PB Blaster. That did the trick.
