    Yea I'm dumb..One question?

So long strong short... I got frustraded because of the problem that I'm having with the car... found out that the alternator is faulty..

    Anyways...

So the car was on right... And my gearbox is open, and I accidently pull out the Reverse lighting wiring... and I heard a spark? I turn off the car and turn it back on, check the reverse light and it still works... did I shorted any wiring out or something??? Because my battery has 9.12V in it, and something is shorting it out, and I need a new alternator???

Would pulling something out such as the reverse light wire while the car is on damage anything specially the battery and alternator??

So you just disconnected the reverse light wire? That should not hurt anything at all.
Do you know what the voltage output on your alt is? Should be at 14-14.5 volts.

Thoes are not good numbers. Your alt is going and should be replaced. Your battery is low because the alt is not producing the voltage. Check your alt belt first to make sure it is not loose.

Pull on it with the engine off and it should only move a little bit, no more than an inch up or down. Changing the alt is not hard and you should do it yourself. Just make sure you disconnect the battery first.
