    TIRE SIZE QUESTION??

My ride is the 90 325is with the 15" Ronal LS wheels (I think to be of the 27-29 offset variety). My suspension setup is E30 M3 springs, on Bilstein tourings (for now). I am just before ordering Bridgestone Pot/ RE-750s and I want to know if anyone can tell me if I can safely (without rubbing) fit 225/50-15s? I WAS settled on 205/55-15s but saw egk2's ride and LOVE the fatness of his tires. His offset is 25 and his used to rub 'til he took a bat and beat the hell out of it, and now no rubbing. I don't really want to beat my car, but if it is close I will for the fatness. Help?
    Anyone? Class? Anyone?

Brew ran 225/50/15's on his car lowered w/ eibach's which is lower than M3 springs with no rubbing. Talk to him

EDIT: his rims ere 15x7 ET25

225's will NOT fit with anything more than 27mm of offset.

The ideal offset for 225's on an e30 is 25mm, but you can go as low as 20mm without any real issues.

Check out yoko avs es100s. They are a kickass tire for the money and come in 225/50-15.

Thanks for the input. I just ordered the 205/55-15 RE750s. I know they will fit and I think they will be fine.

i'm running 225/50/15's with ronal LS's, dropped on H&R sports and have no rubbing what so ever. i do, however, have the et25 version, and i am almost positive a et29 woudnt clear the strut.

What tires are you running on your Ronals? I am looking into tires for mine right now. Does 225/50 size mess up the speedometer? Thanks.
