    Two questions:

    1) once t-stat is removed how should the hoses be connected or which hose should I block ?

    2) what's needed to drain the block, any special tools to remove the block drain caps ?

    Thanks.

The rule of thumb for filling a radiator is if it is safe to drink, it is safe to put in your car. Only water that is highly saturated with minerals will corrode the inside of your engine.
