musical fuel pumps????? i got a question???

i was driving down the road the other day and my car shut off..... will crank but no fuel..... pulled fuel hose off...... no gas when i try to crank it??? so i go to auto zone shell out $185 and they send me the wrong pump..... a master e3138..... the pump they sent me is a bosch style.....the pump i need is a vdo style... can anyone help me out with a part number for a manufacter that they would carry....... picture below is what i have ....p.s. the tank that is in my car is out of a 88 4 door....

Try a dealer, the odds are that they'll give you the right pump the first time.

But before replacing the pump you need to find out if power is present at the pump when you turn the key. A blown fuse or bad fuel pump relay are possible.

got the fuel pump from http://www.partsandaccessories.com/ got free shipping ....ordered last friday got here tuesday...exactly what i ordered ...just want to recommend
