    Reference sensor ohm readings?

I have four sensors and all only have readings on 1 and 2 pins which are within spec, but when touched to the 3rd pin, there's no reading on all four.

Anyone have any info on specs? The only thing i found was a 3 year old thread on here.

What sensors are they? what are they called? and which car? the 325is or the 325e? Does the wiring diagram link that i sent you work?
Do you have the bentley manual? because I don't want to possibly repeat what you already know

It's the two sensors on the bell housing before the flywheel. I haven't checked your diagram yet, i've been working on a friend's car and borrowed his multimeter to test my crank sensors quickly. It's the 325e, there's two, one is a speed sensor, the other is the crank reference sensor.

      I don't have a Bentley.

The diagram will tell you the exact pins that go to the ECU, but here ya go...

the reference sensor (B) is pin 25 and 26 on the ECU with the ignition off you should have 960 +-96 ohms

The crank sensor(engine speed sensor) (D)is pin 8 and 27 on the ECU with the ignition OFF should be 960 +- 96 ohms.

i hope this helps. good luck
